We continue to introduce you to the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in the hostilities in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Defense Ministry earn them the highest rating. Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve to praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“Sergeant Major Sergei Godoroba carried out combat missions as part of the crew of the OSA anti-aircraft missile system.
Being in one of the districts with his crew on an anti-aircraft missile system, Godoroba protected the defending Russian troops from air raids. The enemy attacked the positions of the Russian troops and carried out heavy artillery shelling. Godorob’s calculation, using the technical means of the complex, discovered the enemy UAV, which carried out reconnaissance of the positions of the defending Russian units and corrected enemy artillery fire. The enemy UAV was shot down by directed fire from the air defense missile system. After an accurate hit, the calculation quickly changed its position. A few minutes later there was an artillery attack on the anti-aircraft gunners’ position. Competent and prompt actions of Senior Sergeant Sergei Godorob made it possible to avoid directed artillery fire at the defending Russian units and save the lives of unit personnel.
