We continue to meet the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in the hostilities in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Defense Ministry earn them the highest rating. Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve to praise.
The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“A soldier must be healthy, brave, firm, determined, truthful and pious,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he warned the commanders: “What a soldier needs is useful, and the superfluous introduces into luxury, the mother of obstinacy.”
BROKE THE ATTACK OF THE ENEMY

“Corporal of the Guard Oleg Yepaneshnikov, operating an unmanned aerial vehicle, fulfilled the combat mission of searching for enemy targets, adjusting the fire of Russian artillery teams, and also controlling the damage caused by fire at the hands of work and the team of Ukrainian nationalists. During combat work, while on the line of contact, Oleg Yepaneshnikov discovered a camouflaged field ammunition depot guarded by Ukrainian militants. After assessing the situation, Epaneshnikov quickly transmitted the received information and the coordinates of the targets to the command post and continued to conduct surveillance. According to the data provided, a Russian rocket artillery battery hit the indicated points. During the extinguishing of the fire, Oleg made fire adjustments. As a result of the impact of multiple rocket launch systems, an ammunition depot, an armored combat vehicle, a pickup truck, and more than ten nationalists were destroyed. Thanks to the timely and accurate data received from Corporal of the Guard Oleg Epaneshnikov and the directed fire of the artillerymen, it was possible to thwart the enemy’s plans to deploy forces in this direction.

“The unit, which included Private Oleksiy Vorotilkin, carried out a combat mission to defend one of the liberated settlements during the fighting with the Ukrainian armed formations. The enemy tried to recapture previously lost positions and went on the offensive. Having received an order from the unit commander from him, Vorotilkin quickly and timely took up a firing position near the probable direction of the enemy advance. Acting as part of a unit, while repelling an attack by superior enemy forces, Private Vorotilkin inflicted fire damage from an ATGM on enemy armored vehicles and personnel. As a result of the professional actions of Private Vorotilkin, the enemy lost two armored vehicles and up to 15 people. The damage caused by the soldier Aleksey Vorotilkin did not allow the Ukrainian militants to develop an offensive and forced them to flee the battlefield.
