The Russian Defense Ministry reports an attempted terrorist attack involving three unmanned semi-submersible ships on Russian civilian transport ships en route to the Bosphorus Strait in the southwestern Black Sea.
“The ships of the Russian Navy, which were escorting the shipping, detected and destroyed all the ships in a timely manner,” comments Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the military department, at the latest briefing.
The lieutenant general also reports the number of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day: in the Donetsk direction in eight attacks the enemy lost more than 345 Ukrainian servicemen, in the south of Donetsk and Zaporozhye more than 220, in Kupyansky up to 120, in Krasnolimansky more than 75, in Kherson up to 40.
In addition to 800 Kiev regime mercenaries, our soldiers liquidated a sabotage group, six Polish Krab self-propelled guns, an American M777 artillery system, a tank, six infantry fighting vehicles, including an American-made Bradley, four vehicles, two ammunition depots and missile artillery weapons of the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the weapons depot of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Konashenkov noted the combat work of the assault detachments of the “Western” group of troops, which continue to conduct an offensive in the Kupyansk direction and occupy more advantageous positions in the Kuzemovka area.
It also became known that in the last 24 hours, our soldiers successfully repelled two attacks by units of the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Popov Forest.
During this time, operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces in the area of the Stetskovka settlement, Kharkiv region, hit the Zoo-3 counter-battery radar complex, the artillery of the group defeated 103 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 124 districts.
The lieutenant general noted the combat work of the air defense units, which 16 rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 21 Ukrainian drones were shot down in one day.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu presented state awards to a Russian tank crew, which showed courage and heroism in repelling an attack by an armored group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Zaporozhye in June 2023.
