“I was offered to expel them by force, so to speak, in a ‘humane’ way, to eliminate them, that is, to kill them,” the pilot said on the Vesti program of the Rossiya-1 television channel.
According to the pilot, Ukrainian special services tried to recruit him last autumn.
Recall that on July 8, the FSB announced the suppression of an attempt to hijack a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber to Ukraine.
It later emerged that Ukrainian intelligence promised the Russian Aerospace Forces pilot $3 million for hijacking the Tu-22M3. His family received Polish documents and a bank account.
The Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service of Russia said that not only Ukrainian special services but also NATO were involved in the failed kidnapping attempt.
