The Russian Defense Ministry announced the advance of assault detachments of the “Western” group of troops in the direction of Kupyansk. According to the military department, our attack aircraft “carried out offensive operations in the designated areas of responsibility and improved the position along the front line.” At the same time, they killed 85 soldiers of the 95 Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, burned two armored fighting vehicles, four pickup trucks, as well as self-propelled artillery mounts – US-made M109 “Paladin”. and “Crab” made in Poland.
At the last briefing, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov also reported on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day along the entire line of contact: in the Donetsk direction, our soldiers destroyed up to 250 Ukrainian servicemen, in Krasnolimansky – up to 55, in Yuzhno-Donetsky more than 140, in Zaporozhye – up to 170, in Kherson up to 35.
In addition to 735 mercenaries of the Kiev regime, our soldiers liquidated the ammunition depot of the 24 mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Toretsk, two Paladin M777 and M109 (USA) artillery systems, one AN/TPQ- 50 US-made. counter-battery radar, as well as dozens of units of various armored vehicles.
Army aviation and tactical operational forces, missile forces defeated radar station ST-68 for detecting, identifying and tracking air targets in Pervomaisky, Mykolaiv region, and the command post of the 72 mechanized brigade of the Forces Ukrainian Navies in Paraskovievka, Donetsk People’s Republic. During the day, the group’s artillery inflicted defeat on manpower and military equipment in 143 districts.
Konashenkov noted that air defense units shot down an Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force over Novotroitsk, as well as four HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, two Uragan rockets and 26 UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
