The company “NMG Kinoprokat” has published a trailer for the full-length Russian cartoon “Yaga and the Book of Spells”. Promising to tell the whole truth about the forest sorceress, which, in a new interpretation, goes against the established image of a bony, cannibalistic old woman. She looks quite elegant and provocative, occasionally-very DreamWorks’ovski.
About voice acting: Fedor Bondarchuk (he is also a co-producer of the project), Yulia Khlynina and 15-year-old Lidia Chistyakova-Ionova, the daughter of the singer Glucose.
Synopsis. The red-haired witch Yaga lives with a cat-inventor and cheerful brownies in a hut in the swamps of the Far Far Away Kingdom, where she practices magic. To learn how to truly conjure, the witch only needs the Book of Spells, which was stolen from her many years ago by the evil sorceress Belladonna. And then fate suddenly gives Yaga the opportunity to take revenge on the old offender, when Princess Sineglazka appears on the threshold of her hut …
