It is known that Eduard Semenov was born on May 7, 1967. In 1985 he graduated from the Minsk Aviation School, in 1887-1993 he studied at the Aktobe Civil Aviation Higher Flight School.
According to the pilot’s wife, he had a long break from practice: after studying, he went into business, and then underwent new training.
“Not every person over 40 can go back to school, but he managed it – this, of course, is our pride. There is probably some purpose – he fulfilled it,” he said in an interview with RT.
Eduard Semenov’s daughter emphasized that she was proud of her father and was glad that he was able to cope with everything and that the crew saved the passengers.
He has been working for Ural Airlines since 2013. On the Sochi-Omsk flight he was with Commander Sergei Belov. As we already wrote, he is a hereditary pilot originally from Tbilisi. He will turn 33 on September 28. The pilot’s grandfather was a military navigator and served in Severomorsk. My father graduated with honors from the Sasovo Flight School and the Kirovohrad experimental pilot courses with the Yak-40, then mastered the Tu-134 aircraft and at the age of 28 he was the commander of the crew of the Tu -154. He also worked in Yekaterinburg as an instructor pilot at Ural Airlines.
“I simply cannot imagine another profession and dream of continuing my family’s famous flying dynasty,” says Sergei himself.
