The new version of WhatsApp reinvents itself and incorporates new features into its application from time to time. One of the latest updates is to better find your conversations and groups. Mark Zuckerberg’s company has decided to include three options through which all chats can be filtered. It will appear at the top of the list of open conversations and will allow you to select from three options: “All”, “Unread” and “Groups”.
The first is the default “All” view that shows the conversations we have on our wall as before. The “Unread” option allows you to quickly identify messages waiting to be read or responded to. This new function is very useful for people who accumulate hundreds of unread messages and want to locate them more easily.
For the “Groups” filter, the company ensures that: “Now all your group chats will be organized in one place, so it will be easier to find your favorites, whether it’s your weekly family dinner or planning your next vacation. Here Subgroups of communities will also be included.

When will the new WhatsApp filters be available?
The target company, which owns the application, will begin rolling it out to some selected users and they are expected to be able to access it in the coming weeks. This update adds to other recent improvements introduced by the platform, such as the ability to edit messages already sent or the option to silence calls from unknown numbers.
