“We see high figures, quite high for Moscow and for this level of elections. Both for live voting and for electronic voting,” Fedorov said, quoted by the center’s press service.
According to him, remote voting is no longer perceived as a novelty: a wide range of voters have already gained experience in this participation in elections.
“We hope that all technical problems that inevitably arise will be resolved in time and that everyone will be able to exercise their right to vote in the way that suits them best,” Fedorov added.
In the current elections in 24 regions of Russia, remote voting can be done on the federal platform, and in Moscow voting is organized on its digital platform.
More than half of the registered online voters – 670 thousand Russians from 21 regions – participated in remote electronic voting at 16:00 Moscow time, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation previously reported.
