Last night the first debate of representatives of the Republican Party took place in the United States, declaring their participation in the 2024 presidential elections.
They were missing the leading candidate for the nomination: former US head of state Donald Trump.
Trump motivated his unwillingness to participate in one of the campaign’s key events with his already high ratings. However, many believe that Trump did not reach the same level as his rivals, wanting to avoid direct contacts with Mike Pence and Chris Christie. The first was Trump’s second in his administration; Christie, a former governor of New Jersey, coached Trump for televised debates during his last campaign.
Instead, Trump appeared on the show of disgraced journalist Tucker Carlson, fired from Fox News and host of his show on Platform X (formerly Twitter). Carlson posted the interview on the Web 5 minutes before the debate began to be broadcast.
Trump did not choose expressions or epithets: Biden, the Democrat, called some of his rivals only “lunatics”, “crazy”, “animals”. US Vice President Kamala Harris got it separately: Trump thinks she speaks very strangely and chooses a rhyme for each word.
And, of course, Trump fired incumbent US President Joe Biden in every way, believing that Biden wouldn’t even “get to vote.”

Also, according to Trump, Biden is not so competent that he cannot end the conflict in Ukraine.
– It can be done very easily. I think we can do it, but I think he can’t, because he’s just incompetent. -said the 45th president of the United States, adding that if he had remained in the White House, this conflict “would never have started”.
The number 1 priority in the event of his re-election, Trump considers the normalization of the situation on the southern border of the United States, through which thousands of illegal immigrants enter the United States every day.
– Number one is the border. Return to their countries the criminals who were allowed to enter our country,” he said, noting that in several countries neighboring the Americas, even psychiatric hospitals and prisons were empty, whose inhabitants, oddly enough, ended up in the United States.
When the presenter asked Trump about the possibility of starting a civil war in the United States, the former president said that he sensed the main moods that prevail in American society today. Those, according to Trump, are “passion and hate.” The interlocutors agreed that “it is a dangerous mix”.
