At the end of the week, the General Prosecutor’s Office sent to the Moscow Nagatinsky Court the case of the former traffic police inspector and another citizen, accused of giving personal data to Daria Dugina.
According to the investigation, from February to April 2022, one of the defendants posted an announcement on the collection of confidential information on messenger. In turn, the then inspector of the traffic police, having access to the Federal Information System of the State Traffic Inspectorate, decided to transfer the necessary data in exchange for money. In May 2022, he downloaded Daria Dugina’s personal data and gave it to the client for 3,350 rubles. He passed the information she received to “unidentified persons.”
As the investigation has already shown, the Ukrainian citizen Vovk entered Russia on July 23. As a cover, he took his 12-year-old daughter Sofia Shaban with him. Arriving in Moscow, he rented an apartment in the same building where Daria Dugina lived. According to the FSB, Vovk’s task was to collect information about Dugina’s lifestyle in order to prepare for her assassination. Darya Dugina’s car exploded on the evening of August 20 in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region, when she was returning from the Tradition festival. Vovk crossed the Russian-Estonian border on the same day with his daughter.
As for the case of the murder of Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin), on Friday the Basmanny Court extended until December 2 the arrest of Darya Trepova (included in the list of terrorists and extremists). It was this quiet and modest-looking girl who, on April 2, 2023, handed over to the military blogger a plaster bust with her image in a cafe in the center of St. Petersburg, inside which an improvised explosive device was mounted.
