The filmmaker Brantley Gutiérrez will shoot a new feature film. The tape was called “Lips like sugar.” The movie has a stellar cast. Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson will play the main roles in the next project. Deadline reports.
The script will be written by Anthony Tambakis. The film will be based on a true story that took place in Los Angeles during the 1984 Olympic Games. The film follows the friendship of two teenagers from different walks of life, the city’s Olympic Games organization and two former detectives whose Their lives become intertwined when one of the girls goes missing.
Harrelson and Wilson will play former detectives. Harrelson will also produce the film along with Post Film’s Russ Posternack, Freestyle Picture Company’s Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri, 7Deuce’s Greg Lauritano and Jeremy Pledger, and Subtractive’s Kyle Shemier and Zach Adams.
The music for the film will be written by Will Butler. Filming will begin at the end of 2023. The film will be produced by XYZ Films. It will also feature Anna Schwartz, Tara Craig, Jikant R. Patel, Rama K. Penta and Raj Penta.
