Recall that the McDonnell Douglas F / A-18 Hornet aircraft entered service in Finland in the mid-nineties (from the last century – Approx. ed.). There are currently 62 combat vehicles in stock. At the same time, Helsinki agreed with Washington on the supply of new F-35 fighters in 2026. The corresponding contract was signed with the American company Lockheed Martin and 64 aircraft were ordered.
