On this day, 56 athletes from all over the world demonstrated dizzying acrobatics, a costume show took place on the surface of the water, and everyone was able to fly through the air in tandem with a professional athlete. The festival was attended by 40,000 spectators!
Hydrofly is a new extreme sport that has won the hearts of millions of active lifestyle lovers around the world. This is not surprising, because the performances of professional athletes in this discipline are an exciting and extraordinary spectacle. With the help of special equipment, they fly over the water along a complex trajectory, using the thrust of one or more powerful water jets.
In 2023, 56 representatives of different regions and countries participated in the competitive part of the festival: Russia (Crimea, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Perm, Bryansk, Cherepovets, Nizhny Novgorod region, Naberezhnye Chelny, etc.), Republic of Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Maldives and the United States. Spectators were fascinated by the flights of the two reigning champions of Russia, as well as prize winners of Russian and international competitions.
The end of the competitive part of the festival was marked by demo performances. The holiday ended with a special program, which included spectacular performances by extreme cyclists, as well as an evening concert program with the participation of Olga Seryabkina.
