There have been several changes within the heavyweight division. Russian fighter Alexander Volkov, who defeated Tai Tuivasa at UFC 293, is now ranked sixth. He previously occupied seventh position. Tai Tuivasa dropped to eighth place. Seventh place is now occupied by Sergei Spivak.
In the ranking of the best fighters, regardless of weight, Jon Jones continues to occupy first place. Nigerian Israel Adesanya fell from fifth to ninth place. Newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, who defeated him, moved up to eighth place.
