Today in Sydney ended the second semifinal of the World Cup between women’s teams. England defeated hosts Australia in front of almost 76,000 fans.
England coach Sarina Wigman made it to the final in the second World Cup in a row! In 2019 she did it in charge of the Dutch team. Last year, already as the leader of the English women, she won the European Championship, and this summer she will compete for the World Cup!

Ella Thun opened the scoring in the first half with a powerful shot nine seconds after Alessia Russo’s transfer almost 11 meters away.
