In the off-season, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva shared alarming news: she has motivation problems. — You said that this year you had motivation problems. Is it because you have been competing for more than ten years?“I didn’t lose motivation because of that, I’m still looking.”

– How do you feel today?– Good! I’m glad I can perform here and feel almost competitive emotions. There was excitement and joy at having skated well in the program. All the emotions that were planned were there.
— So the competitions still cause some kind of impulse?– Thanks to God, yes. I thought not, but yes, she was a little worried.

— Nowadays many skaters teach master classes. Would you like to be a host?— Master classes are always interesting. You pass on your experience to the younger generation, it is a pleasure. Of course, if I am invited, I always try to accept these types of events.
—Who inspired you for this short program?“Ilya Averbukh suggested this music and it resonated with me with such tragedy. In shows now it evokes more emotions for me than something fun to skate. I immediately accepted. There were other options, but this one turned out to be the most successful.
-Do you feel sad right now?– No. I am only interested in revealing such compositions now.
—Your costume is very interesting. Can you tell me your idea?— I definitely wanted a black and white dress from the beginning, the contrast of emotions resonates. Then my designer suggested writing poetry based on the lyrics of the song, I liked this idea, because they are like letters to a person who is no longer here. The red ribbon at the end is a symbol of hope that is no longer there, so I take it out of my soul and fly to my beloved in the sky. I decided to end it in such a way that she would still come to him. There is no hope, that’s why she decided to commit suicide.

— Do you have doubts about participating in the season at this time?– We’ll see. These are just open skates, I’m not in top shape. We’ll see, I can’t say now. I don’t want to deceive you.
— Lisa, as a more experienced single skater, can you answer if we have any problems in children’s sports?“There are coaches who treat kids harshly, but I didn’t go through this and this didn’t happen before my eyes. If I ever see something like this, I definitely won’t stay silent.
– Is it possible to do something about this? Maybe we need an analogue of Safe Sport?“It would be nice if children could go somewhere for help.” They are really helpless, you want them to feel protected and needed. I would like that in case of some approach that does not suit them, if, God forbid, force is applied, so that they can turn somewhere.
