The famous Russian athlete Yelena Isinbayeva is no longer a member of the headquarters of the Popular Front. This is reported by TASS.
According to the source, the decision was taken by absentee voting. It is noted that one of the reasons for this decision was “his non-participation in the work of the Popular Front and the headquarters of the movement”.
Recall that Isinbayeva went to permanent residence in Spain. While in this country, the athlete said that her military ranks, received during her performances for CSKA, are nominal.
For her remarks, the two-time Olympic champion came under a barrage of criticism, and Dagestan’s boss Sergei Melikov was instructed to change the name of the Makhachkala stadium, which bears her name.
