The winner of the League Cup (between MLS and MX teams) has been announced.
In the decisive match, Nashville hosted Inter Miami. The match ended with the victory of the guests in the penalty shootout.
In regulation time of the match, the teams exchanged goals. Inter scored forward Lionel Messi (23rd minute). As part of the hosts, Fabrice Picot scored a goal.
In the penalty shootout, the players of the Miami team (10:9), which won the League Cup, were more accurate.
Note that for Messi this trophy was the first in “Inter Miami”. The Argentine moved to the MLS club from French PSG in mid-July.
