Details have become known about the health of one of the most brilliant Russian players of the past, as well as Paris Nizhny Novgorod coach Sergei Yuran. On September 8, the club announced that Yuran had undergone emergency surgery.
At first, various media outlets reported the bad news, but immediately the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod club responded to the rumors and issued an official statement in which the general director of the club spoke about the state of Yuran.
“Stay healthy, Sergei Nikolaevich! I know that many rumors will arise if official information is not given. But this information is true. Last night, Serguei Yuran, coach of the Paris NN soccer team, underwent surgery in one of the clinics. The indications for the operation were emergency. Now nothing threatens the life and health of our coach,” said Paris NN general director David Melik-Huseinov.

Melik-Huseinov also promised that he himself would monitor the coach’s health and rehabilitation period. And these words are said for a reason. Previously, the general director of the football club was the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Health. This means that Yuran was probably given the best specialists and comfortable conditions. The risks in such a situation are minimal.
Melik-Huseino revealed how long the rehabilitation will take. Recovery will only take a few days. But will he have time to return for the RPL resumption? This question has already been answered by the president of the club’s board of directors, Dmitry Kondratov.
“We are waiting for Yuran to return to the match against Dynamo,” Kondratov told Match TV.
A member of the board of directors said that now everything is fine with the club’s mentor, he is resting.
Paris NN will play against Dynamo in the eighth round of the Russian Championship on September 15. Yuran and his team will have to visit the capital of Russia. The match will start at 19:00 Moscow time.
No one from the club said what the operation was related to and what kind of health problems Yuran had. But the fans who are worried about the coach, who gives results and emotions, have already calmed down. He is doing well, but his recovery will be brief.
Yuran has headed Pari NN since April 4 this year. He has been working at the Club for 157 days, during which he managed to play 21 games at the head of the team. In this number of matches, Paris NN has eight wins, three draws and ten losses. Last season he saved Nizhny Novgorod’s place in the RPL. In the play-offs, the Yuran Club turned out to be stronger than the capital’s Rodina.
Currently the team occupies eighth place in the Russian Premier League standings. In seven rounds, the Nizhny Novgorod club has 10 points. And in the last four RPL matches, Paris NN won three victories. And one of the key factors of this result is the work of the coach.
