On May 10, the first day of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship took place. Let’s summarize the results of the four games that were played there.
The previous meeting of these teams two years ago was not as productive as yesterday. However, these matches have a curious detail in common: in both cases, the scorer of the winning goal was the forward of the German team Leonard Pfederl. This is déjà vu. He added two more assists to this goal, and Slovak goalkeeper Stanislav Skorvanek, who had had a good run in the previous World Cup, began the tournament without much success, conceding five goals in 21 shots.
