Usyk is on the edge of a precipice. Crawford takes the lead in P4P, Dubois will steal all the belts

Last week, world boxing’s undefeated tops Terence Crawford and Naoya Inoue scored another great achievement and moved the pound-for-pound leader of the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. For a second, he tops the list of the best boxers on the planet as of May 2022.
Now a new threat looms over Usyk. British boxer Daniel Dubois, nicknamed Dynamite, intends to take the championship belts from the Ukrainian.
Dubois is very serious about seizing this opportunity: “I am one hundred percent ready, ready for battle. We are going to take the titles home, they come with me. It’s my time, definitely. Yes, Usyk was a great champion, but like I said, everything has an end. His “zero” must go. I have to get over it in every way. I’m younger and stronger and I’m going to give this guy hell. I was born for this.”

Daniel is a huge and powerful puncher who relies heavily on punching power in his fights. From this point of view, he resembles Deontay Wilder, who is also often criticized for his clumsy technique. At the same time, the Bronze Bomber makes up for his gaps with heavy hits. Dubois is from the same category, he got most of his wins by knockouts. The Briton achieves this thanks to his impressive dimensions. And this is a problem for Usyk.
John Fury, Tyson’s father, is of the same opinion: “Facing a heavyweight of 114 kilograms with a height of 198 cm, who can hit? I don’t know what Usyk’s team will do about it. Daniel does not have this problem. The Briton is fresh, young, has great ambitions and wants to fight at the top. Even a single defeat of Joyce does not spoil the picture, however, an orbital fracture of the eye socket interfered with the matter.
