New Exhibitions Will Open in the Space of the Cube Moscow Art Platform

Date: June 5, 2023 Time: 17:14:37

On June 10, a new exhibit will be opening in the Cube Moscow art platform’s space. The exhibition, called “Personal Geography,” will consist of two parts. The first part is Livre d’artiste (The Artist’s Book), and the second is an installation. Artists that contributed to the project are Tatyana Badanina, Vasili Vlasov, Evgeny Gor, Viktor Lukin, Maria Kulagina, and Mikhail Molochnikov among others.

Slava Nesterov also has an exhibition opening at the Syntax gallery, titled Three Laughing Thresholds. The show investigates how laughter developed into a form of communication with its own culture and character. Laughter possesses informal, unaccountable, and extra-institutional attributes that exist parallel to stately and religious spheres. And on the other hand, laughter is intimately linked to the themes of life and death.

The Gallery’s exhibition, “From essay to vector,” consists of works by Vladimir Kartashov, Vlad Maltsev, Slava Nesterov, Pavel Polshchikov, Charles Norman, and John Flaxman. The program refers to a tradition of creating graphic images with sketchy lines.

Andrey Syailev’s personal exhibition, “Breakthrough of the Tear,” continues to work at PA Gallery. Additionally, Sergey Ratchin’s personal exhibition will be open at Kupol Gallery, and as part of the pop-up project, a collection of Bogdan Bonchuk’s photographs, “The Ideal Man,” can be viewed. In addition, Arts Square Gallery presented the exhibition “Pozdeev. A Brief Review” of paintings and graphic works by artist Andrey Pozdeev.

Earlier, Cube and the Moscow School of Contemporary Art announced a long-term cooperation. This will make it easy for young professionals to become part of the program.
