Information about the pollution of the river and banks within the limits of the administrative center of Evenkia, the village of Tura, was received by law enforcement a few hours ago. According to preliminary data, an oil spill occurred during the disembarkation of a self-propelled river boat, the regional prosecutor’s office reported.
In the water intake of the Tura village, downstream from the accident site, industrial control has been strengthened to prevent the entry of fuels and lubricants into the water for the needs of the population.
The police find out who owns the vehicle. Law enforcement officers have to establish the causes and circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the audit, a decision will be made to initiate a criminal case.
Recall that about a month ago, oil products leaked from a tanker moored in the city of Ust-Kut into the Lena River in the Irkutsk region, adjacent to the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
