Hiberus Foundation inaugurates the I Tech x Change cycle, a national conversation program on how technology changes and improves different sectors. The objective of the cycle is to convey the value that technology brings to society and the business fabric through concrete examples with leading professionals.
The first event has been subtitled ‘The banking revolution’ and it has addressed the advances that technology is requiring in the banking sector, both for users and for the companies themselves, which are undergoing intense advances in their structures. To illustrate this revolution, Sergio López, CEO of hiberus, has spoken with Carolina Bouvard, CTO of Europe and Director of the Channels, Government and Transformation Area of T&O Spain of Banco Santander.
In the meeting, topics such as the application of generative artificial intelligence, security in banking, the need for technological profiles or the promotion of female talent in careers have been addressed. Bouvard has done a lot in the relevance of the digital component in the multi-channel service that is offered to its customers so that everyone has a successful experience with the bank.
Íñigo de Yarza, president of Fundación hiberus, has inaugurated this cycle that allows the foundation, which has spent years training hundreds of professionals in different technologies, “now to go out into the streets to disseminate the value and contribution of technology in the social and business.”
This first event was held at the hiberus headquarters in Zaragoza, moderated by the director of the hiberus foundation, Sandra Parrilla, and was attended by different professionals and associations from both the Aragonese community and other parts of the country. It has been presented as the first of others that will be held in different parts of the Spanish geography and that will receive other technological professionals who will explain the technological keys in other fields.
Rubén Marcos, Director of Institutional and Territorial Banking for Aragón, Navarra and La Rioja, closed the event with thanks for the involvement of the foundation and leading companies and highlighted the need for this series of meetings to disseminate business progress .
