Ivan Kosnikov became the winner of the “Future Games” in the VR rhythm simulator discipline – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

This discipline of the “Future Games” brought together 16 participants. They had to determine the best in a discipline in which athletes wearing virtual reality glasses and listening to music must use a computer game to cut cubes flying towards them with laser swords, and also avoid obstacles, earning points for each action.

The final part took place on Friday at the Kazan Expo. The winner of the champion title and 17.5 thousand dollars in prize money was 19-year-old Ivan Kosnikov from Moscow. In the final he defeated another Muscovite, Eric Niyazov, 3:1.

Interestingly, the total number of points scored in the final was higher for Niyazov: 3,289,851 versus 3,281,584. However, in terms of fights, it was Kosnikov who improved.

Mikhail Stepanyuk took third place.
