Moschino has announced Chinese singer and actress Yu Shuxin, also known as Esther Yu, as the house’s new ambassador. WWD writes about it.
Esther Yu starred in the house’s pre-fall 2023 ad campaign and garnered attention back then. According to the brand, “His charismatic intuition of her and her enchanting performances are in harmony with the bold and avant-garde spirit of the brand.”
“The way Esther behaves in front of the camera, combined with her passion for timeless style and fashion as a means of personal expression, perfectly embodies the spirit of Moschino,” said Massimo Ferretti, president of Aeffe (the company managed by Moschino).
Earlier, Moschino spoke about plans for the 40th anniversary. The brand, which has lost creative director Jeremy Scott, is planning a massive show at Milan Fashion Week.
