On September 12, the Russian leather goods and accessories brand “Verf”, together with the “Rustrends” project, organized a trip to the Gzhel Porcelain Factory. The trip took place on the eve of the launch of a new collection of bags. The guests of the event were Anastasia Baranova, Lina Dembikova, Katya Katkova, Inessa Mertey, Yulia Muzyka, Evgenia Golovacheva, Katya Zemskaya, Anna Bellis, Evgenia Zavyazkina, Elena Fatenkova, Olesya Glazunova and Snezhina Kulova.
As part of the trip, the guests took a tour of the plant’s workshop, learned a lot about its history and the process of creating Gzhel products, and also felt like real artists. Under the guidance of the masters, they painted porcelain coffee glasses according to the Gzhel technique and also participated in the painting of a bag created by the Verf brand.
In the collection you can find three models of different shapes. Thus, Hobo has a stylized semicircular shape, Torba Mini looks like a small basket and Tote Mini has an elegant square shape and neat legs. Each product is presented in five natural colors: deep burgundy, noble walnut, delicate mint, deep beige mixed with chocolate and classic black.
All bags in the collection are made of genuine leather. To achieve texture and a beautiful visual effect, the shipyard’s craftsmen used different types of leather: smooth nappa, textured flutter and aged.
