The daughter of the head of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o, Erica Do Rosario Nieves, demands that her father be sentenced to one year in prison for non-payment of alimony, reports Sport.es.
According to the source, the court recognized Erica Nieves as Eto’o’s daughter in 2022. She requests arrears alimony amounting to 90,000 euros in the last five years.
Previously, Eto’o already had several previous convictions in various cases. In June 2022, the former soccer player was sentenced to 22 months in prison on probation for tax evasion. There were also proceedings against the footballer for non-payment of alimony to another daughter.
The Cameroonian won the Champions League with the Spanish ‘Barcelona’ and the Italian ‘Inter’, he is champion of Spain and Italy. From 2011 to 2013, the striker played for Anji Makhachkala. He now heads the Cameroon Football Federation.
