Former Russian Women’s Volleyball Team Coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin Has Died

Kuzyutkin, who was 75 years old, led the Russian team to victory in the 2010 World Cup.

Vladimir Kuzyutkin, the former Russian women’s volleyball team coach, passed on at the age of 76. His death was reported on the All-Russian Volleyball Federation website.

After a serious and prolonged illness, Kuzyutkin passed away.

Anatoly Kuzyutkin is a prominent Russian coach. He is the Master of Sports of the USSR and has been awarded the title of Honored Coach of Russia. Over his coaching career, he led the men’s teams Motor (Volgograd), Uralenergomash (Sverdlovsk), Neftyanik (Yaroslavl), Samotlor (Nizhnevartovsk) as well as women’s clubs in Belgorod and Balakovo. He also prepared national teams for Turkey and Bulgaria.

When he had his pinnacle moment, Russian volleyball players won gold medals and Nikulin was a part of the team.

According to his LinkedIn page, Kuzyutkin’s last work was Belogorye, which he left in March 2018.
