Former Russian athlete Darya Vafolomeev won four gold medals at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, becoming Germany’s most decorated athlete in the sport.
Varfolomeev won in all individual events: hoop, ball, club and ribbon exercises.
A full tournament will be held in Belgium on Friday and Saturday. Daria will participate in the team tournament that will end the 2023 World Cup on August 27.
Born in Barnaul, Varfolomeev played for Russia until he was 13 years old.
