Russian authorities have approved the application submitted by Claire LLC to take over the franchise for the American footwear brand Crocs. We’re grateful for our wonderful staff and happy that they’ll be continuing their work with a new local operator.
A small Belgian firm with a Tunisian connection was the main owner of Cyrx, according to the publication. The main owner is Eric Petit and his company Crox SI-AS has been involved in the firm from 2008-2014.
Crocs was able to take over the management of the Crocs store in Moscow’s Afimoll. The company is already open and they’ve already begun selling products at different stores all over Europe. One of the things that have been known is that there are no plans to re-open their online store in Russia, so other retailers will be handling the sale.
Crocs has been working in the Russian market since 2008. In August of that year, the brand closed 85 retail locations, alongside its online store. The company anticipates closing 100 more stores by 2021. Its first-quarter revenue for 2021 was 4.6 billion rubles.
Crocs has previously expanded the All-Terrain collection with two models: the All-Terrain Sandal and the Classic All-Terrain Flip. They are designed for trips and walks in nature for people of all ages.
