McDonald’s has launched a scented Big Mac shower gel that you can’t buy, but which can be earned by eating their food. They have already started seeing the product go up on classified ads sites on sites like eBay.

When the article on McDonald’s shower gel was published, we provided an alternative perspective. We argued that the gel smells like cucumbers and is more suitable for a Mac World magazine interview than it is for presumably gaining access to your nearest McDonald’s.
Gel is quite hard to come by nowadays unless you buy it with McDonald’s points. So, for example, buying a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets would entitle that customer to 8 points. Buying a Caesar salad would give the customer 5 points and gel would cost 15 points.
The Big Mac-scented shower gel is currently only being sold in Austria, but entrepreneurial McDonald’s fans have started listing it on local classifieds sites for prices that range from €2 to €20.
