UEFA Announced the Postponement of the Champions League Final From Saint Petersburg to Paris

The Union of European Football Association announced that the Champions League final in Saint Petersburg, Russia will be postponed. The match will instead be played on May 28, 2017, at the Stade de France stadium in Saint-Denis, France. This was reported on the website for organization.

The president, Emmanuel Macron, personally thanked the President of UEFA for his commitment to rescheduling the footie game during a time of crisis. Together with France’s government, he promised to support the efforts of stakeholders and maintain footie players and their families in Ukraine.
